Where I’ve been
Most recently I spent 3 years as Chief Strategy Officer at Wunderman Thompson where I helped transform them into Campaign's Integrated Agency of the Year.
Before that I co-founded Karmarama which we ultimately sold to Accenture Interactive. As the CSO for 13 years I built us into an agency with an enviable creative reputation, distinct culture and broad client base. In that time we were The Sunday Times 'Best Agency to Work At' for 7 years running, won Marketing Week's Agency of the Year, and Brand of the Year twice.
I spent 8 years as the head of planning at HHCL + Partners when we were Campaign's first Agency of the Decade, and way back when, I started my career as a Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble which taught me all the essential skills of a marketer.
Along the way I've been a regular speaker at industry events, from The Festival of Marketing to SXSW, have written for all sorts of different think-pieces, and published a book called 'Brand Nirvana - Closing the human experience gap'.
What I’ve learned
Each of these places has been amazing for learning and sharpening my problem-solving abilities and helping me realise that the best ideas come from truly understanding the problem at hand. It might sound simple, but getting to the heart of the issue is often the most overlooked yet valuable part of any brand strategy.
If we get to work together, my goal will be to dig deeper into your real challenges and help you craft a more effective solution. Whether you need brand strategy, marketing strategy, pitch strategy, or just a fresh creative perspective, I’m here to turn your problem into a confident and actionable answer.
